These are some of the generally more popular guys I listen to, Modest Mouse being the most well-known...But hey man! They're really good! Jeez!!! I've got many more bands I could list here though but EE are the most important ones, I think. They're my favourites with their "ugly and complex" sound :-) genuinely like nothing I've ever heard before... Yes I'm shilling!!! This is MY site!!!
But I generally like complex (or complex-sounding) guitarry things. Stuff like The Smiths, Gang of Four, or Franz Ferdinand... That or more Jazzy things like Black Midi or sort of Horsey... Or more folkey things like Ringlefinch, AJJ (and quite a few other folk-punk guys), or Alasdair Roberts' stuff.
I shouldn't go on SO LONG but I could go on much longer about this stuff, I think. I love music RAHHHH!!!
I also really enjoy writing little stories. The two lads on either side of the screen are my characters! Though from two sort of unrelated stories taking place about a century apart, haha... Maybe someday I'll make some more so each page gets new dudes, but... That's future me's problem. The two lads are Julien (purple dude) and Cassius (blonde dude)!The site itself is actually sort of built on the idea "what sort of site would Julien make?", so fun fact.
